Yes this build foobared.on Atheros. R9000 bricked and R7800 doesn't even upgrade. It did work on my Broadcom R8000.
Now I'm trying to fix my R9000 using tltp, which should work fine _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

Mine did the same thing. Found I could tftp Kong's factory to DD-WRT.img to clear it.
Bricked and cleared it twice to be sure it worked.

Reset: Yes

BRICKED my R9000 twice. Managed, both times, to TFTP and reinstall the Netgear-to-DDWRT initial image file (.img) and then upgrade back up to DD-WRT v3.0-r35452 std [03/20/18]
Router Model: WDR-3600, DIR-615 i1
Status: Buggy
Reset: Yes to defaults & erased NVRAM
Errors: See Below
After flashing the WDR3600, the unit doesn't come back up after the web GUI says it's rebooting. The blue star LED on the router flashes on and off and the wireless indicator on my Android phone went on and off over and over again as it disconnected and reconnected in an infinite loop. Access via Telnet was not possible, and trying to access the router via the web GUI failed after flashing. All the router was doing was offering a wireless signal every few seconds and then shutting it off every few seconds. The same thing happened with the last 2 builds.
On the DIR-615, the router also didn't come back up by itself after flashing. Since there is no power button on that model, I had to physically unplug and replug the unit in order to get into the Web GUI.

Interesting. For me, tftp using r35767 factory-to-ddwrt img file didn't work.
However, Kong's file worked fine. _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

I wonder if it would be possible for some kind person to inform BrainSlayer about the problem of flashing via the Web of these two routers to solve it in future versions.
