This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 35667_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless.
If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ [I prefer answere in whole sentence]

Posted: Wed Apr 04, 2018 21:31 Post subject: Serious issues on Linksys E4200 v1
@kt_haddock
Build 35667 has some serious issues with E4200 v1 as it disturbed radios as in 2.4 ghz , no options appearing as g ,n , etc , only disable option showing
Secondly on 5ghz, it copied same channels of 2.4 ghz and 5ghz radio totally turned crap
No Wi-Fi client is able to connect
Reporting after several trials for this new build to work for e4200, i tried v Broadcom K26 big and mega builds nv60k and none of them worked in this context
Hope to get it fixed very soon in next beta
Reverted back to previous build, that was working perfect with e4200

Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r35531 std (03/26/1
Mode/Status: Access Point (AP), Wired Working
Reset: Yes (erase nvram; reboot)
Issues/Errors:
1. DHCP: OK
2. Port-forwarding: OK
3. DDNS: OK
4. Wireless: OK
6. NTP time update: OK
5. Access to internet: OK
Problems:
1. DNSmasq *NOT* restarted properly after changing values related to DNS in Setup->Basic Setup! It gave me a false impression that the ping to www.google.com was increased by 10ms, even after I specified 1.1.1.1 in DNS. Manually restarting DNSmasq using stopservice and startservice fixed it.
The experiment was further complicated by Window$' caching of DNS results. Needed to use command "ipconfig /flushdns" to avoid misleading results.
Anyway, I noticed that the DNS settings in Setup->Basic Setup was quite confusing. I will start a new thread on this. Right now, I could say options that're related to "Local DNS" was completely useless. It should be taken out. And that /etc/resolv.conf was always "192.168.1.1" no matter how I altered DNS settings.

Nothing I own can connect via WiFi after this update, the network shows its there when using WiFi Analyzer, but I am unable to see it in the connect list with any device. I'm assuming there is an issue with DHCP will be rolling back to r35531 _________________
