Assuming you're happy with 2.4GHz N networking, TP-Link TL-WR841N are about $20 on Amazon. There are some models that won't run DD-WRT according to the Wiki though.

Stubby DNS over TLS I DNSCrypt v2 by mac913
It's listed as supported by dd-wrt but the smaller the flash size the less features in it. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.

If you want to run something like FreeRadius, it would be best to search for a router with at >8MB flash. I would suggest something like a TP-Link Archer C7 v2, 3, 4 (not 5) or D-Link DIR-862L. Another possibility is something on the Broadcom side that would run at least a Mega build (Asus N66U, etc). Note, at the moment Broadcom routers are hit with a nasty wireless bug in dd-wrt (hopefully will be fixed soon). _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

Thanks Ian, but I'm looking for something more affordable. Below USD50.
