Assuming you're happy with 2.4GHz N networking, TP-Link TL-WR841N are about $20 on Amazon. There are some models that won't run DD-WRT according to the Wiki though.

Ok, both of you guys are right!

How about TL-WR940N plus. But just wanna confirm, is it supported by DD-WRT? It says on the list below that it is.

Once again that is a 4MB flash size, not sure what features will be included. In case you haven't found the Supported Devives list: https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices

It's listed as supported by dd-wrt but the smaller the flash size the less features in it.

If you want to run something like FreeRadius, it would be best to search for a router with at >8MB flash. I would suggest something like a TP-Link Archer C7 v2, 3, 4 (not 5) or D-Link DIR-862L. Another possibility is something on the Broadcom side that would run at least a Mega build (Asus N66U, etc). Note, at the moment Broadcom routers are hit with a nasty wireless bug in dd-wrt (hopefully will be fixed soon).

Thanks Ian, but I'm looking for something more affordable. Below USD50.
