Wiped and flashed from factory. Set up from scratch.
Up time 3 hrs. Running great. Potential stable build and best to-date.
Update:
- Up time 15 hrs still great. Switched from HTB to HFSC, which is now fully working as expected, combined with FQ_CODEL.
- Temp ui shows CPU 64.0 °C / ath0 Not available / ath1 Not available. Is this by design?

Just flashed this firmware on the R7800, no reset yet. IPv6 not working initially, and still getting httpd errors in syslog:
May 9 01:16:06 DD-WRT daemon.info httpd[1186]: httpd login attempt from 0.0.0.0 . Sending authorization request.
May 9 01:16:06 DD-WRT daemon.err httpd[1186]: Request Error Code 401: Authorization required. please note that the default username is "root" in all newer releases
May 9 01:18:38 DD-WRT daemon.info httpd[1186]: httpd login attempt from 0.0.0.0 . Sending authorization request.
May 9 01:18:38 DD-WRT daemon.err httpd[1186]: Request Error Code 401: Authorization required. please note that the default username is "root" in all newer releases
Thinking about going back to r33700 where everything ran clean. I may try a reset and re-entering my settings. However, the httpd error that I got as soon as I logged into the web admin interface isn't a great sign.

Router Model: r7800
Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r35900M kongat (05/08/18) GUI install over r35700M
Status: Running
Reset: No
Errors:
Lost my vlan 4 off of br1 when system restarted even though an assignment to bridge showed in “assign to bridge” settings. Had to “Apply Settings” on Setup/Networking tab to restore eth1.4 to br1.
Lost internet on vlan 4 (eth1.4). Disabled OpenVPN Client/Applied Settings and internet returned. Enabled OpenVPN Client/Applied Settings and internet on vlan 4 remained. (Vlan 4 not included in PBR range)
Temperatures look like they may be off CPU 51.0 °C / ath0 38 °C / ath1 21 °C
Up time 58 minutes and looks good. _________________ R7800 r53339 std (08/01/23)
Private network on bridge br0 = eth1 (vlan 1) + wlan0 + wlan1.
Guest network on bridge br1 = eth1.4 (vlan 4) + VAPs (wlan0.1 + wlan1.1) for IOT devices
(Roku's, Amazon Echos, smart switches, etc.) and guest.
Noob still finding my way.
swconfig dev switch0 set enable_vlan 1
swconfig dev switch0 vlan 1 set ports "1 2 6"
swconfig dev switch0 vlan 4 set ports "3 4 6t"
swconfig dev switch0 set apply
vconfig add eth1 4
brctl addif br1 eth1.4
ifconfig eth1.4 up

Went from 35700 to 35900 via webflash
No reset
Didn't have any issues with getting NAT working like going from 35030 to 35700 where NVRAM size changed and bonked the saved settings requiring me to reset.
Seems like some work was done on QOS. Only HTB and HFSC are available for packet scheduling. HFSC is yielding much better results over wifi this build; wired lan speedtest QOS is total shitshow- no control at all for download.
Anyone with a 7800 experience this on wired lan speedtesting?
I recall that on the EA8500 the WAN & LAN switch CPU is shared and this may explain the QOS shitshow...
@tatsuya46 or @MRJCD-is there a way to switch the CPU for lan ports, or is it fixed on the EA8500? I assume it's fixed.

move wan interrupts to core 1, leave rest at default (should be all on core 0). and try turning on interrupt moderation on the lan nic in windows, if it has an option for moderation rate, pick medium or higher. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Is this the right command?
