Hello I am a new member of the forum.
I have a router tp-link 1043N V5, in router database,Other Downloads ,I found firmware for it. If I'm right. But i can not flash it to ddwrt. What might be the reason for that ? I get the error "This operation is not allowed for remote management."
Yes, and I received this message. I also returned it to factory settings.I tried it and loaded it successfully with the factory firmware from tp-link. Do I miss something? With a tp-link 1043nd version 1, I did it without any problems.
Has anyone managed to flash the firmware onto a v5 of a wr1043n. I've tried and tried without success......exactly the same error.
Flashed openWRT onto it, but from there it wouldn't take either factory or upgrade bin files.
Got it back to stock though.
Is there something wrong with the brainslayer build for the router?
The fact it took OpenWRT without issue makes me think so.......
I, too, am using OpenWRT. But their package system is a pain in the neck, and some PPP-based protocols have bugs. Really wish the DD-WRT developers would fix their builds for the various versions of the WR1043N. It looks as if only the firmware signatures are wrong, and the LEDE source has the correct ones.
