1st, hi all. Newbie Here. Thanks for accepting my membership...

My query is in relation to flashing my ASUS RT AC56U Router. I have downloaded the TRX file which I got when I put my ROUTER details in for the latest FLASH. I have looked for support on flashing but want to make sure correct prior to actually doing it.

From what I have read, do I just Login to the Router and update Firmware with the DD WRT. I am unsure as read that have to login to Telnet on different instances, not clear on my Router as that was a 66U I believe.

I am going to eventually put on NORD VPN. I am also going to run it through my existing NETGEAR D6400. A little info would help me out a lot. How to connect Flash and do have some instruction from NORD for DD WRT.

Apologies if this has previously been covered, I just couldn't see anything properly and definite for the ASUS RT AC56U. Regards.

Appears that kong builds also work: Kong also supports the AC56U: dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD.bin http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/

This is a Broadcom device and may be more appropriate to ask in Broadcom forum.
