Hello, I do a lot of web scraping with proxies etc and use a lot of connections. When I upgraded to the latest DDWRT on my Linksys 1200AC, it set the connections to 32000. Now obviously this is unrealistic, my usual setting is 16000, but if it ever hits that my Internet slows / crashes.

So few questions:

How many connections can a DOCSIS 3.0 modem handle at once?
Which router can handle the most connections? I’d like to be able to hit 16000-32000 connections at once without the router dying.

You're talking about using a PC with Pfsense? It's not possible to install DD-WRT onto a PC without paying some large fee right? Or at least, not the 64-bit version?
