On current releases, you have to ensure that the associated CPU port is tagged.

After updating to this build OpenVPN is no longer working. Any ideas? It crashes when a client tries to connect to the server

and your VPN is...??
on router model ???
try to disable DCO

Netgear R9000
Downgrading back to 12/31/23 build everything works again.
I guess I'll keep this build but there is something definitely wrong with the new one. Maybe a clean setup might help 🤷

R9000 is considered Atheros, not Broadcom, wrong thread.
