Previous/Reset: r55033 / no
Mode/Status: Gateway / Up and running for 2:05 hours
CPU Temperature: CPU 62.5 °C / WL0 40.5 °C / WL1 0.0 °C (ambient temperature 17.0 °C)
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
The fact is that the router is connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the red WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). The internet works, I just think it's a glitch.
But this does not affect the work.
Just relax
CPU temperature readings started changing after one second from 61.9 - 62.5 °C
Thank you BS and gurus! _________________ Atheros

Summary
On *SECOND* reboot after flashing this build (1st boot is old->new, 2nd boot is new->new), the router lost all WAN and LAN connections. Later, I rebooted this new build, it again caused the router to lose all network connections.
Other than ksmbd, everything was working fine after COLD boot (power off->on).
I had ksmbd disabled in the WEBUI and manually started it after init. ksmbd worked for about 50 seconds, then it stalled and could NOT be killed nor restarted. The command to stop ksmbd ("sh -c echo hard > /sys/class/ksmbd-control/kill_server") also failed and didn't respond.
Without ksmbd.control in ksmbd-tools, it's difficult to provide more information.

I managed to update my C9v1 to latest DD-WRT release and this method will work from now on, for all future updates:
The trick:
- I renamed archer-c9v1-webflash.bin to the latest TP-Link OEM firmware c9v1_un-up-ver4-1-0-P31[20160517-rel35411].bin
- uploaded and flashed from DD-WRT web interface
- magic happened

Previous/Reset: 54682 / No reset, WebUI
Status: Crash on USB SMB access, reverted to 54682. Core networking functions seem OK.
Issues/Errors:
Accessing EXT4 USB via SMB works briefly, then causes the router to crash and restart. Works OK on 54682.
A few speedtest runs suggest 55052 is also performing poorly compared to 54682.

Today I found my router not responding to usual SSH connection. I assumed that it's been compromised (well I did NOT bother to find out the truth). So I reset it. That did NOT solve the ksmbd problem, and it still stalled after some time.
Lastly, I took this chance to go back to build 54682.
End of report.
Postscript: it could just have been an USB error. Well... _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)
