we tested the EOC1650. it works. just enable wan, if ap mode is enabled and it gets its ip from your dhcp server

i always have the same problem.
from scratch i set "Automatic Configuration DHCP"
on wan setup. it seems ok because i see address on
WAN IP from web interface but when i reboot WAN IP is 0.0.0.0

sure!
when u reboot the ip will be gone. it must discover a "new" one.
i think u should set a fixed ip. thats what u expect

i enter via wlan and i can't ping with a device with the same subnet.

hope that this informations are usefull:

i would like to configure EOC-1650 with chillispot.
my ns2 works very good with chillispot.
it is the difference with my ns2 configurated (and working):

the current bridging table on ns2 br0 have ath0 as interface and in port setup
the wan port assigment is on eth0.

with this configuration WAN IP on EOC-1650 don't work and wan ip don't receive
ip address from dhcp server.

Hi Sash

the problem is:

from scratch configuration

Basic Setup
1) set wan connection type to: Automatic
2) disable DHCP server
3) router IP to 192.168.10.1

Security
1) SPI Firewall : Disable

reboot
wan ip is set correctly.

configure chillispot (i use the same configuration on other AP and it's working)
and when reboot wan ip is 0.0.0.0
