You have to APPLY the Internal or External Antenna again after upgrading.
Your SNR with 25/03/09 can't be right!

Why are you using the External Antenna?
What kind of Antenna do you have on the 1650?
Did you try the INTERNAL Antenna?

Please "Apply Settings" in Wireless>Basics and try Internal and External Antennas again!

I tested it and I get 15dB of SNR more than the Buffalo HP.

So I think everything is OK now.

Thanks to the dd-wrt team!

Enrico you are right!!!
When using external Antenna and setting in dd-wrt to External you will get a really bad SNR in the AP.
EOC showing nice SNR but the AP showing really low SNR.
Looks like you still have to use the Internal setting in DD-wrt and just switching the Main-Switch on the EOC to EXT.

We will have to wait for a fix.
Might have been working in 03/03/09

There is an update-bug in the early Firmware 03/25/09
Your update will fail if you use the Web-Interface!!!

If you consider updating from the Version you downloaded in the Morning to the one from the fixed one from the Afternoon, do this:

copy the lates linux.bin (from the Eko Folder) via SCP to /tmp (temp folder on the EOC)

Linux.bin 03/25/09 has just been updated. Download this one!

If you did so, go to Administration > Commands and type the following:
mtd -f write /tmp/linux.bin linux

Let it time to update.

IMPORTANT! SEE the Post above!

After flashing, you might want to try this:
(only working from 03/25/09 on)
TX-Power: 30
Antenna Gain: -10
YES! -10

See what happens. You should earn some more SNR.
This is why the original Firmware was so good.
This gets about 24db plus Antenna Gain out of your 1650! Please be aware of the regulations in your Country!

If set internal in Antenna output i see good wireless performance (tomorrow some test).

the problem is why thereis "antenna output" on eoc-1650 version of dd-wrt?
i can select two antennas only via switch present on device
when is set on internal.

If you can choose, use SECONDARY!
If you have Internal/external use Internal!

In the new build you can't choose anymore. Its set to secondary!

@Enrico
Do you have the 25/03 from the Morning or Evening?
PLEASE be aware that you can NOT flash the 25/03 from the Morning with a new Firmware using the Web-IF.
See my Post above. Fixed in the Evening.

Are you able to choose Internal/External in DD-WRT or is there nothing to choos from now?

@SASH
What are those Problems you are experiencing?
Lates Firmware? 03/26/09?

Thanks
