hello there.
i asked smc about the sourcecode of the webt-g.
today i received the answer (in german):
...
Wenn Sie im Konfigurationsprogramm des smcwebt-g sind, klicken Sie die
rechte Maustaste und anschliessend auf Quelltext. Dort finden Sie die
Informationen.
...
i will translate this:
when you are in the configuration menu of webt-g just klick the right mousebutton and select sourcecode. there you find the informations.
i dont know if they want to fool me around with the soucecode of the html-page.
i do not have a smc-device, so please could anyone owning such a device take a look on this?
thank you!

Hello there.
20 minutes ago i had a call from smc. they asked me where i get the information that their webt-g is openwrt-based. they also asked me why i want to publish that information in the net-papers and asked me not to do this.
they said that they will ask their production-unit which firmware the router has.
as i told them the gpl-thing, they said that they know about this and that they have another router with open-source-firmware (with published firmware) and that they will publish this one, too, if its open-source software.
waiting for an answer,

I've been playing with the fonera and, accidentally, I deleted this file: /bin/fonverify. Please, could someone upload it or paste here the file. It's just a shell script used to flash the fonera. It's about 160 lines long.
Also I unpacked the firmware 7.1.1 from FON. Here it's:

i dont know if someone already found this openwrt for the meraki mini.
the last time i was on the meraki-site, they only had their own firmware.
but now there is an openwrt-port for the meraki, too.

Just when it goes back online you will se MyPlace net again (just like when it was originally), the firmware will be reverted to 0.7.0 r2 and the public net is FON_AP again.

Why you want 0.7.0-r4 again?
You can also enable SSH access to your 0.7.1-r1 using notmart's tip. _________________
