I think the same, I think a std version would be great.
And I say this as a suggestion like fl did (and I understood him from the beginning).
Mega features are awesome, but having a little more free space would let us to customize it even more for special uses.
Id also like a smaller build so that I could stick kismet server on it.
Theres a few things that just arnt needed such as.
XBOX Kaid (doubt any one even plays xbox on system link anymore)
My ad network (hasnt worked for ages)
And a few other things that slip my mind. _________________ Asus WL-520GC R1.02 - DD-WRT 24-sp2 (09/30/09) micro-plus (SVN revision 13000M NEWD Eko)

I think you fail to grasp the difference between paying customers and non-paying customers. A paying customer is pretty self explanatory, they paid for a reasonable expectation of a service in return for the money they pay for goods or service. DD-WRT professional customers are paying customers, they have mostly reasonable expectations for the ability to modify the packages installed on their router. Let's take windows for example. Windows includes certain programs with their software to paying customers. Those customers aren't allowed to modify the source OS, but they are allowed to modify the packages installed on top of that OS. Your "DD-WRT OS provides its service, but changing packages should be allowed. Just as microsoft doesn't support GIMP if you install it, we aren't asking you to support or assist in the installation of these packages, we just want you to allow us the freedom to modify the OS to suit our needs as PAYING customers.
