I have 2 EOC-2610's one new pre-flashed to r13064 from keenansystems.com and one older EOC-2610 I flashed myself.
Running stock settings with r13064 I set the user and pass and power-cycle the unit next I login to the GUI and just enable PPPoE apply and power-cycle.
After that the unit never obtains an IP after the initial redboot but I can do a 5sec reset and the unit is back online or just reflash from redboot
I can replicate this on both units and r12966 doesn't seem to have this issue
My english sucks so I will make this simple
inital boot
goto http://192.168.1.1/
set user and pass
apply
power-cycle
goto http://192.168.1.1/
login
setup
set Connection Type PPPoE
apply setting
unit is still alive
power-cycle
Code:
C:\Users\Red>ping -t 192.168.1.1

with only oneethernetport what do u think will happen when u enable pppoe?
the eth will become WAN.
ergo no eth access any more. u must connect via wifi! _________________ Forum Guidelines...How to get help

Im using it as a client the wifi/ath0 is wan and the eth is lan its working as I type just not with r13064
Another example 2 units exact same settings other than IP
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std - build 13064 IP:192.168.5.1 Fail
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (09/24/09) std - build 12966 IP:192.168.5.2 Good
If I'm not mistaken isn't 26dBm + 24dBi like 50dB then - about 2dB for cable loss and connections so 48dB
I set the ack and dropped the dBm from 26 to 25
I still need to realign the antenna its up on a 60ft tower and wind on my property averages 20mph with daily gusts around 80mph so it messes with alignment over time. plus I really need I taller tower I just don't have the $$$

I may be wrong, but I think the radio uses the value of the antenna gain you type into the GUI to adjust your TX power to the legal ERP limit for your country. Why else could the software care what your antenna gain was ?
Set the antenna gain to Zero, and New Zealand as the country. The radio has no business knowing how much gain the antenna has. That is your responsibility to keep up with.
