On the DIR-600 router's download page there are two firmware posted:

dlink-revb-factory-webflash.bin and
dir600-revb-ddwrt-webflash.bin

I flashed dlink-revb-factory-webflash.bin and the router is working fine, though I want to revert back to original firmware, which I can't.

Is it necessary to flash the "dir600-revb-ddwrt-webflash.bin" too or I shouldn't?

Why is this for?

Please don't tell me to search the forum, because I did.
Thanks

the factory webflash is for flashing a router that has the factory firmware, the ddwrt webflash is for upgrading a router that already has dd-wrt running on it.

You need to look on the forum for recovery procedures for that router

Hi, I had a problem with the Dlink Dir600 and do what u said on Alternate Install Method using Emergency Room Web Interface and now it's working fine, but i couldn't use on step 1 the ip 192.168.0.0, so I use 192.168.0.100, and in step 9 had the same situation so i use 192.168.1.100
I do the change with a windows xp and firefox.
I use only the factory image.
The router now don't use the power with the green led (always yellow) and it's the same for the Wan green led, yellow too.
