got 6 EOC-5610 here installed the latest firmware succesfully on them and everything was running smooth. Today I bought 6 superchannel activations and after activating one the 5610 was bricked, only the power light comes on. Then I tried it on another and the same thing happened! Does anybody have experience with this, I don't want to brick the remaining 4.

If I replace these 2 access points do I need to purchase new activations?

Have you tryed redboot fix to see if thats coming online.

Also what firmware version are you running latest doesnt really say much since they change nearly weekly.

All I can sugest is try another firmware version before activating superchanel and to see if redboot fix works on the bricked ones.

The firmware version is: Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09)

When I connect my laptop directly to the access point then my network adapter says not connected.
I will send them back to the supplier tomorow.

Do I need to buy new activations for the replacements of these bricked access points?

I tried it but when the lan port is dead there is not mutch I can do. I went through the forum and found this post http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=53642.

Same problem and as you can read in the post his activation will be reset.

I spend 180 euro on activations and for that I got 4 access points running wih dd-wrt but without superchannel. Hope you can help me out here.

The fw is different but the unit is the same and so is the result of the activation.

To be sure I opened the 5610 but there is no jtag port. Also tried the redboot procedure again on the LAN port but to no avail.
