Hey just wonder what the commands for getting ath0 into monitor mode are, Iv done a quick search but my internets on the fritz today so iv got limited time.

So far I can get it to work by starting wiviz which creats the interface mon0.

That works but wiviz always kills its self after a few mins which causes airodump to stall the whole router.

So back to my main question. How do you create mon0 with out using wiviz?

alright got it working.

wlanconfig ath0 destroy
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode monitor
airodump-ng ath0

Working 5mins no crash yet which is 5X longer then before.
