I have meshed two radios together (done this many times with no problems). For the two I am working with, the remote radio shows a wireless connection to the master, but the master shows no connection to the remote. They are on the same channel, I have compared the settings to each other and other radios, they are the same (of except for IP, SSID, etc.). I have found one difference, the master radio shows in the Status-Sys Info that WRT-radauth is enabled. I have no setting anywhere that I can disable this. Older firmware showed a tab under wireless. I have firmware DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/23/10) std.
Wat can I do to disable this, it is the only thing I can think of that is keeping this radio from talking to the remote.
Thanks
John Sullivan

Sorry, I used "mesh" as a general term. I did use WDS - both virtual interface and MAC address methods. I mainly want to know how to disable RadAuth when there isn't any place in the firmware to do it in the version I have.
I am sorry Sash, you being listed as a guru throws me off as I get the same answer from you every time. I have asked my question clear enough. Sash, if you don't want to answer my question then tell me. I have searched and read what you listed. This has been the most difficult Forum I have ever had to work with. Are there no "true" experts for DD-WRT? If this is the way questions are handled, remove me from this forum. I will not waste my time spinning my wheels. Speak clearly or don't speak at all.

Getting yourself removed from the forum is very difficult. I've been trying for years, but I'm still here. It is much easier if you just stop coming to the website. If you do keep coming back then you should do what Sash has recommended and start providing some configuration details about what you think is not working. Screen shots and readings would be a good start.

I apologize for my last answer, I am under pressure to get these problems solved. Let me try again:
I have an Engenius 2610 version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std. The setting under System Information> Services screen shows WRT-radauth set to AP. I have searched through every setting within this radio and I find nothing related to that. I telneted in and all the options I receive don't tell me much how to disable it.
This is what I get in telnet:
(root@JPI-Lightning-607:~# wrt-radauth AP
wrt-radauth - A simple radius authenticator
(C) 2005 Michael Gernoth
(C) 2006 Atheros support Sebastian Gottschall
Usage: wrt-radauth [-nx] interface radiusip radiusport sharedkey radiusoverride mackeytype macunauthusers
-n1 Use new MAC address format 'aabbcc-ddeeff' instead of 'AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF'
-n2 Use really new MAC address format 'aabbccddeeff' instead of 'AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF').
Sometimes I can restore the 2610 back to default and set it up again but it doesn't always work in disabling the WRT-radauth. Mostly when the radio is a remote linked to its primary is when this appears. How do I turn this off since I don't use radius authorization on the radios, just on the MicroTik RB1000 for the users from the AP's before everything goes out to the satellite.
I understand about the upgrade but I have what I have. What I want to know how to do is to disable WRT-radauth, as the attachment shows it is set to AP.
Seeing that it has taken 8 month so far to get a few pieces of information about your net setup (Mikrotik, AP's, and Satellite) I predict that within a couple of year the readers here will understand your network layout. You are not in a hurry, are you? _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
