L2TP, transport network adresses - static

O hi!

I want to ask, why so hard to add option in L2TP to use static transports adresses like in PPTP.
Nowday L2TP Connection only work if i have a DHCP server in my ISP network, but my ISP gives me only static addresses and L2TP connection to the Internet, so i can't use dd-wrt on my WRT54GL.

I don't think it such a big problem to add a couple strings in web interface and startup scripts.
