I tore the bridge apart and was surprised to find 64mb of ram and 16mb of flash with the broadcom chip. For a small bridge, that seemed to be a pretty big amount. Here are the list of chips for my FCC ID.
FCC ID: IXM-APGBR02
Circuit Board Rev: 3.1
Boardcom chip: BCM5350KPB5
Memory: IS42S32200B-6T
Flash: (MX) 29LV160BBTC-70

There is one wireless antenna and one ethernet jack. That being said, there is and area for 4 jacks and 2 IC (FT20-2887B) which makes it look as though the bridge is nothing more than a stripped down version of the router/switch.

Hi,

I tried to flash the 5432 with the v24 micro code.
(dd-wrt.v24_micro_generic.bin)
I used the US Robotics "upgrade" GUI procedure web page on the 5432.
It does not indicate a failure, but after reboot it just shows the US Robotics GUI again, so the flash seems to fail somehow...
Any idea?

Thanks,
All the best,
--Gerd.

Hhhmmm,
easier said then done...

The routers apears to be unstable: (even after 30/30/30 reset)
- web gui only available for short period, then freezes.
- telnet only accessable for few seconds, then freeze.
- continues ping show only periodic responses

=> It offers me not enough stable time to give you the requested files.

Is the router continously rebooting?
Is there another flash image available that I could try? (maybe smaller: nano v24?)

Thanks!
All the best,
--Gerd.
