Testing the Atheros / Senao 2610 version. Same issue as the broadcom, the Wiviz starts, looks for WNICs, but blocks the router, and the radio disconnects / reboots.

If we do close it, we get again access to the router (it blocks any request or traffic done to www, imap, pop, smtp, etc)

Also, seems to get very weak signal from the APs. Yesterday, I was getting around -77dB / -78dB Signal, today after the upgrade (reset to factory defaults) I get only - 82dB / -85dB and the noise remains almost the same 94/96dB

how are the real wifi speeds

Hi Sash, I have had the chance to compare 2 Senao 2610, one with DD-WRT 12874, and the other with Senao 1.39 Firmware.

DD-WRT does see around 30% more WIFI APs than Senao Fw.

Also, the APs I do use have just 1Mbps/288Kbps so, it is not really an issue regarding the internet speed, it was more related to the stability and connection to the APs in mode G.

As far as I remember, Repeater mode is usually related to G-only. Am I wrong ?
