3.(Does dd-wrt support the soekris vpn1411?) For vpn hardware acceleration? Most vpn service providers reccomend dd-wrt, so it would make sense to support for home x86 builds for thier vpn service and would reduce the cost of a home build that could handle the encryption. I know m0n0wall and pfsense supports this device. See here: http://soekris.com/products/vpn-1411.html
and here: (under 3.15)

I was also planning on putting the Ubiquiti SUPERRANGE71-15 Wireless MINI-PCI Adapter on this motherboard to make it a wireless access point router. If that will work? If vnp1411 works too, I could put them both on this motherboard?
I am waiting before I do build until I know it will work. Once I know I can build and it will work I'll do a you tube video and show the insane speed on an at home vpn with dd-wrt.So Whatcha think, tell me jeez! LOL! Here's my youtube page thinking of starting one though specifically for vpn routers once I get versed enough and maybe sell some and help people out as well!!! Home vpn's need this to share vpn at full speed regular routers don't cut it for vpn and high speed internet. www.youtube.com/user/jeremykilroy

Well apparently sata does not work with dd-wrt. Glad I didn't build yet. You guys knew that mobo wouldn't work and said nothing. Thats balogni. Have to put together another build I guess. C'mon Sata has been out how long now like ten years. Jeez.
I specifically asked if this would work with this motherboard. No one said nothing of sata not woking. I am a customer of strong vpn listed a build on there forum. That I was told would work. That is why you have recently got posts of pc's rebooting. Because people that have read it went ahead and started some builds. You made me look like bad and made yourselfs look bad as well and caused several people unnecessary headaches.
sata as in AHCI doesnt work since you need an ahci mode driver. but sata in standard IDE mode works just fine.
next time dont be so stupid. but i guess you just cant help it if your born that way.
Just to let you know carthayes tried that and it still didn't work. It appears it is because it is a newerchipset. So slybunda next time dont be so stupid. but i guess you just cant help it if your born that way.
