Hi,
We use a lot of TL-WR740N v4, TL-WR740N v5, and TL-WR740ND v5 with our customers. These are all loaded with v23919. Lately, we're seeing more following situation happening..
1. WIFI stop working and stop broadcasting. Ethernet continue to work fine. A reboot is required.
2. NVRAM setting becomes corrupted. Setting such as SSID change to "ddwrt", etc. Any attempt to change setting would cause router to reboot. Only way is to recover to stock (through tplink build-in recovery method), and reflash to ddwrt again.
What would cause these prbolems? Any feedback is much apprecaited.
I suggest installing 27506, which run relatively stable for months on my Atheros-based routers. If not, latest build 28112 would also be a good candidate, but not much testing has been done since it was just released yesterday. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Hi, has anyone tried to downgrade to an older version? If so, how could I do it safely?
I have installed the 27858 build but its been very unstable and I want to use the 27506 build as I have seen here its the most stable one at the moment.

I guess you meant WR740N. Latest 28444 runs OK on it. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.
