Hello,
I've been seeing a strange enough issue that I'm unsure how to debug and could use some advice.
As background, I run an Asterisk server on my local network. It connects to an upstream SIP provider. This allows both incoming and outgoing calls. I do not port forward - Asterisk is hidden behind my firewall.
Roughly once a week Asterisk notices the upstream SIP provider goes unavailable and stops allowing outgoing calls. After much debugging, turns out, when I reboot my dd-wrt router (on an Asus rt-n10), everything starts working again.
Any suggestions on how to approach debugging this would be greatly appreciated? Thank you kindly.
