Hi,
i´m wondering about the Samba Speeds i get with Windows 7 and Build 18777.
I attached a 1TB USB Harddisk to my WR1043ND Router. The transfer speed is round about ~50kb/s.. Under same conditions with factory FW i´m getting about 3MB/s...
(My Xbox with XBMC is able to stream movies with way more speed.. Much more....)

I am having very similar issues. If I connect with Ubuntu or oplayer on my iPad I get great speeds. With Windows 7 the speeds are much slower. The worst part is that when I attempt to download a larger file the connection drops out completely and the file won't ever download. I tried connecting with ftp and had the same result. I just had a thought and I think it worked! Because I have broadcom wireless cards in my laptops, all the other devices/OSes besides windows are using much later drivers. I wound up using the top driver here http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/14644-latest-broadcom-943xx-driver/ There's probably a newer one out there but I got lazy.
I just downloaded 2 large files on 2 different windows 7 laptops after updating the driver and no more issues!
I've noticed a big boost in Samba transfer speed with the latest firmware + formatting the samba drive to EXT4 _________________ TPLINK TL-WR2543ND (5GHz)
