I've used the gui over 3 years to build a pretty long list of DNSmasq DHCP Static entries. Now I need to upgrade the firmware to something modern (20675), and don't want to type in each one of those entries manually into the GUI when I upgrade.

I've gotten into the files using WinSCP, and see the entries in
/tmp/etc/dnsmasq.conf

but as I understand it, /tmp stuff is generated on the fly at startup?

where is the info permanent in the file structure?

thanks, but I've searched for "nvram dnsmasq.conf" and can't understand.

where do I do this? I am logged on with SCP, and only see a directory structure. Can you be more specific? thanks

- You can copy data of dnsmasq.conf to "Additional DNSMasq Options" (tab Services, subtab Services, section DNSMasq), I think it should work.

or

Edit your static leasing to this form
XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX=name1=192.168.X.XXX=time1 XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX=name2=192.168.X.XXX=time2 XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX=name3=192.168.X.XXX=time3 (no new line), and then telnet to your router and type "nvram set static_leases=[Text Above]" and "nvram commit". Check your webif to see it correct.
