Any update from BS regarding porting DDWRT for this router?
Thank you!
I have an e-mail confirmation from BrainSlayer that he received the donated TL-WA901NDv3 on the 27th of August (tracking number also confirms, see attachment). I've asked for an update, but I have no more news regarding its status since then. We'll have to wait. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Would additional donations help accelerate the creation of this firmware?
I don't know. Sebastian (BrainSlayer) told me "it's in progress" on September the 19th. That's all the info I have.
I don't want to start bothering him even more, maybe he is busy with other things. I don't know what to say. I suggest contacting him yourself at s.gottschall@dd-wrt.com _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Dear DD-WRT team, please give any feedback, because I`m in one step from taking a hammer and smash TL-WA901NDv3 router. I spent about 2 months to configure it with openWRT, but no chance =(

You couldn't get OpenWRT installed or don't know how to use LUCI?
I flashed the image "https://downloads.openwrt.org/barrier_breaker/14.07/ar71xx/generic/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wa901nd-v3-squashfs-factory.bin" from "http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wa901nd"
And I was able to figure my way around LUCI. But, I would prefer DD-WRT

I noticed the firmware has been posting in the ftp folder today do I have it a try.
I could not manage to get it working. WiFi works okay but something is wrong with the WAN port - I could not get it to ping the upstream router. It looks like it is getting confused with an internal and extranal IP address somehow. I will revert to openwrt for now.
It is important that you flash the AP and clear the NVRAM.
I did this twice: once after going from OEM FW -> DDWRT, and again in the DDWRT WebGUI (DDWRT -> Factory Reset and Upgrade)
