Hello
We have supernet network. Means 510 hosts in network.

starting from 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.3.254
all of them are set with 255.255.254.0 (/23) subnet.

All hosts are able to talk to each other no matter if they are from 192.168.2.X or 192.168.3.X since subnet is set to 255.255.254.0.

DD-WRT IP is: 192.168.2.15 and subnet 255.255.254.0
All 510 hosts can ping DD-WRT.

However VPN clients can only ping or connect hosts which are in 192.168.2.X series (same of DD-WRT).
VPN Client Cannot ping or connect any hosts which are in 192.168.3.X series.
Why is it so?
Pls let me know how PPTP client can connect to 192.168.3.X series clients.

Thanx

It will not work with a C class network.

Use a B class network (172.16-31.x.x)

It will be too hard now to change IP of all hosts since its huge network.

Sash: I don't know if openvpn works with android and windows in-built vpn client.
And using openvpn would solve my issue?

thanx

The DD-WRT PPTP client is broken. Look at the server side status page, it shows wrong local IP address for the client(s).

That is bad planning from the start.
