And yes it is an altered OpenWRT Kamikaze version

Is there anyone who can rebuild/port it to DD-WRT or rebuild firmware with Client mode and WDS options in the Web GUI ?

Im not that good in linux at the present time it would be great if somone could rebuild the WNR1000 V1 firmware with adhoc settings in the Web GUI.

Kind regards

"the same hardware as D-Link DIR 615 H/W Version C1"

Does the above mean that it will work with the same version of DD-WRT as for the DIR 615?

It there any update on porting DD-WRT to WNR1000 V1? The firmware on WNR1000 is a piece of crap and drops connections too often.

Here are pictures of the innards WNR1000v2-VC model provided by Comcast.

Surprisingly easy to open and get access to. Pop off the rubber feet rests gently so they don't come completely off. Unscrew 4 torx screws and viola!

Here are links to fullsize:

Atheros + Hynix memory. I am unable to locate JTAG pinouts visually. I also do not have tools to locate them at this time.

Hope these help some. If you need better ones let me know.
