This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 33525_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless.
If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ ASUS GT-BE98 PRO Main: Fiber 5gbps up/down

DD-WRT v3.0-r33555 mega (10/20/17)
Linux 3.10.107 #16360 Fri Oct 20 11:07:53 CEST 2017 mips

No Reset - previous r33215M
working -- seems ok
My bad .... how could I see all change-sets between 33525 and 33555? "http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/33555" only shows change-set 33555.
Again, my bad...
The first post in "http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=279466" again has no news about 33555 but just "30805 --- 2016/10/27". You have to jump to the last few messages to see something about 33555. But the dates of that post was "Sat Oct 29, 2016"! It seemed that the post had been edited multiple times.
If that's the case, why not update the first, pinned post in that thread? _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)

Working without any issues so far. Overclocking is still not active anymore on this BS version but my OC from previous builds is not being reset to default.
Overclocking is still not active anymore on this BS version but my OC from previous builds is not being reset to default.
I recall the problem is when the nvram parameter 'overclocking' is set, DD tries to reset to it after reboot, as I had issues when initially testing my E1500 (DD didn't provide several valid OC settings, so I had to custom-set 'clkfreq=353,176,88'). Once I changed 'overclocking=353', no more problems, but I think it being blank is also fine (thus a reset fixes DD from changes it after boot).

Before the Oct builds I was running DD-WRT v3.0-r27453 (06/25/15), a suggested K3.x for the e3000. Tues I stepped up to the r33525 mini build, and it's been running mostly without issues for the last couple of days (it had trouble handling 30/30/30s but did fine after a 30s power cycle). This one's been up for almost an hour w/no issues, but I'm not using a lot of extra stuff yet. Wired and 2.6g/5g (default band) throughput look good. Thanks to all for the resources/help, and esp for brainslayer's late night slimming on this, looks like it's working here.

Fyi, restoring an old config exactly negates having erased nvram.
