La Fonera DD-WRT Autoupdate

Ist es möglich, wie bei der echten Fonera Firmware, dass sich DD-WRT von selbst immer auf den aktuellsten Stand bringt?

Hallo Mose kennen wir uns nicht aus dem FON-Board?

Aber egal, sowas sollte zwar wohl prinzipiell möglich sein, ist aber wohl noch nicht implementiert worden... ;-(

Aber wie dir k0k0 wohl bereits geschrieben hat, ist die von dir geplante WLAN Bridge (Fonera als WLAN Adapter) auch mit den FreeWLAN Addons möglich... (Dort gibt es ein Autoupdate)

sorry Jungs, für mich ist das ein NO GO Exclamation

Solche Funktionen stellen immer ein Sicherheitsrisiko dar!!! - Du weißt nie, ob der Update Server nicht gehackt wurde und eventuell eine gepatchte Version auf den Router aufgespielt wird, welche dann Deine PPPoE Passwörter, MAC adressen etc. über das Netz versendet... alles weitere möchte ich mir gar nicht vorstellen... Twisted Evil

Also ich möchte so eine Funktion in keinem Fall!!!

Dann eben abgewandelt wo ein fester auf poppt und da steht neues updatet verfühgbar!

Die Idee wäre nicht einmal so schlecht. Einfach ein kleines Fenster, dass dem Nutzer, wenn er das Webinterface öffnet, sagt, dass eine neue Firmware verfügbar ist. Natürlich nur, wenn er dies wünscht.

also das autoupdate find ich auch net soo prall...aus verschiedenen gruenden habe ich immer gern volle kontrolle darueber was und wann etwas geschieht.

aber das mit den popup bzw vlt auf der fw update seite ein hinweis auf eine neue version find ich gut!

wer macht das feature request im bugtracker fuer die v.25??!!

ja das mit popup das mich informiert dass ich updaten könnte und falls ich will, dass es dann updatet find ich sehr gut.
