Hi everybody,
yesterday i got my 2 EOC-2610 and 24 hours later i hate this things!!
I only want to include 1 of them as an AP to my LAN and the other one should be a bridge from my friend to my LAN.
I have maybe configured 50 WRT-54GL with dd-wrt and 20 Foneras!! All of this devices works perfect!!
This both bitc.. doesn work stable. Some time they are not able to reset( must disconnect 2 times the power cable)
Wlan speed is max 10mbit (tested with iperf)
In some other situations the devices reconnect wlan everytime.
Now my settings:
1. The AP
1. I change the password, connected per lan
2. change ssid - save
3. set wpa2 + passwordphrase - save
4. change the ip of the EOC lan device close to my subnet (ip 192.168.115.50 sub 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.115.1 dns 192.168.115.1) - save
4. disable dhcp - save
5. apply
6. disconnect the EOC from my Computer
7. connect the EOC to my LAN
8. wait wlan comes up
9. connect per wlan - if possible
Sometimes the signal indicator shows all 3 led´s
sometimes nothing...
Please help me to love the device like my other dd-wrt things..
PS: Sorry for my poor english

Bad news!
After flashing the firmware.bin from 19.02.09 and making my changes (set the pw, ip gw and dns, ssid and encryption +deaktivatting dnsmask) i reboot the EOC.
It´s reachable over the given IP per LAN but there is no wlan. I think the wlan-if doesn´t came up.
Please say to me what you need (log, screenshots,..) and i will post it immediately.
BS says that the client-brige mode is not so good for making a brige from A to B over the wlan with 2 EOC´s. Is this correckt? What is the "golden way" for my intention?
The OEC doesn´t like my Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG-Card incl. in my Dell XPS M1710 Notebook.
I´ve tested with Windows XP, Vista and 7.
The wlan card shows the network, i connect...after a will windows says connect but with no IP and something is strange. Windows shows the network encryted with wep not wpa2!
Same Laptop, same card works perfeckt with both of my Linksys WRT-54gl!
@ this time i only test the AP mode!
I think its not so good when i start testing the wireless bridge even AP mode is not working with my devices.
My plan is to use the both EOC´s as AP points with roaming at this time.
Its to cold outside for mountig the EOC´s
but i will test it inside my flat but with no good client is this not so easy. My Asus E is to slow for making this well and the dell doesn´t work with the EOC´s per Wlan.
