adhoc ns2 throughput problem

dear sir,
i tried nanostation2 using dd-wrt firmware trial version for adhoc mode.i get bad throughput,i get speed only around 100kb/s untill 512kb/s with distance only 1 metre.any body help me please, hire we really need adhoc mode with good throughput

just dont use it. this mode is garbadge imho and low throughput is something that is normal in adhoc especially with >2 nodes
