once upon a time i had 2 eoc-2610 with original firmware. i achieved 3.1 mb/s between them. txpower = 28 dB. worked in super g mode. after replacing original firmware on my wrt54gl to dd-wrt - i saw a great difference between these firmwares. as a result i decided to repeat such a focus with my eoc's-2610. and then i really dissapointed. maximum what i've got = 18 dB. speed = 2.2 mb/s. now i want to roll back to original firmware, but the only thing that stops me - the height where my eocs are. what should i do? - waiting for another build??? (now i have 13064)
Have you brought the pro licence. If not alot of stuff is disabled such as using full power which would limit the speed.
I have no speed problem with mine.
Quite often get 5mb/s. _________________ Asus WL-520GC R1.02 - DD-WRT 24-sp2 (09/30/09) micro-plus (SVN revision 13000M NEWD Eko)

the only thing i can see now is that u still can't make a clean breast of it. i'm talking about that a dd-wrt still has a problem with tx output power on senao-2610 model and up to this moment nobody has solved this bug. via webgui it writes 26 dB, via telnet - 18 dB. DEFINETELY txpower is more than 63mW, but DEFINETELY it's NOT working on 26 dB. DD-WRT - is really the most perfect firmware i've ever seen, on my two wrt54gl it works wonderfully(!!!), on my two eoc-2610 - too, except my troubles with txpower. i hope that's everything going to be ok in next build. :)
Sash, i'm a human, and of course i can't understand some things, but there aresome facts - earlier i had 3.1 mb/s (pure 24 Mbps)(original fw), now if my EOCs have good mood - 2.2 mb/s (17.6 Mbps)(dd-wrt). Here is a concrete question - what should i do to increase my speed? dancing with tambourine around EOCs?

G mode max speed is 6.72mb/s but you can only expect to get 5.5mb/s at most. If you dont beleive try it out. Have your AP with in 5M of your wireless clients and do a file transfere or if you have a local web server get the speed tester source and run that.
Have you got the antenna set up correctly in the wireless page?
You need to have diversty enabled and both TX and RX on secondary. This is the best set up.
Also on all the versions I tested the external antenna wouldnt work proply and it would use 1 internal element along with the external antenna. _________________ Asus WL-520GC R1.02 - DD-WRT 24-sp2 (09/30/09) micro-plus (SVN revision 13000M NEWD Eko)

turning off encryption, leads to signal decreasing...
line of sight is clear, but Fresnel region - maybe a little bit fouled, but i haven't touched my antennas, so the direction stayed the same. The main fact is that on dd-wrt,- performance of my EOCs - decreased, and i can't get WHY?
on original fw, i can remember when i tried to switch on turbo g, it worked only on 6 channel due to all channel consolidation. before switching on turbo g i had 2.2 mb/s as now, after i had 3.1 mb/s. turbo g is alike 40Mhz TURBO here, - in dd-wrt. but this fuc**ng feature doesn't work on my EOCs. only 20Mhz channel width.
Upgrade to the latest firmware, SP2 13972. It seems to be much better than the others. At least on my side I have seen a huge difference on stability, and speed.
Yours is outdated, and buggy : "now i have 13064"
Give it a try and tell us.
